Description | Management Requirements. A successful contractor shall complete program management and administrative tasks to ensure the requirements of the contract are met. The contractor must adequately control and supervise all personnel performing services under contract. Technical Requirements. Technical Requirements include (but are not limited to) the following: -Installation and testing outside plant fiber optics, aerial, buried and underground cables. -Rebuilding outside plant copper cables, and installing outside plant. -Terminating and installing single mode/multimode SC connectors on fiber optics. -Installing distribution pedestals and various OSP cabinets. -Installing conduit under streets/roads and along roadways for communication cable/fiber optic. -Removal and disposal of universal, as well as hazardous building materials that may be generated (or discovered if hazardous) as a result of maintenance activities. -Provide labeling of telecommunications systems IAW American National Standards Institute (ANSI), Electronic Industries Alliance (EIA), and Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA) National Electrical Code (TIA/EIA-606-A). -Label all outlets and patch panel positions indicating their function and unique identifier code. -Capture all devices, outlet locations, and designations on system drawings. The contractor shall be in compliance with federal, state, and local laws, rules, and regulations pertaining to environmental protection, occupational health and safety. The contractor shall provide all tooling and equipment needed for successful performance. The contractor shall also be responsible for the preparation and clean-up/clearance of all work sites from the commencement of work through acceptance of work. The contractor shall be required to maintain necessary insurance for personnel and equipment liability. |
