Removal and Replacement of the Underground Fuel Tank and Dispenser

• Remove the existing underground 6000-gallon gasoline tank per MDE regulations. • Remove the existing dispenser, fuel controller, fuel island, and suction line. • Take the required three soil samples after removal. • Backfill and compact the excavation with clean fill dirt. • Properly cut, clean, and dispose of the underground fuel tank. • Pour a new 6’x25’x12” concrete pad in the same location as the original fuel tank. • Supply and install a new 3,000-gallon Fireguard double walled gasoline tank on the new concrete pad, and surrounded by a new 8’ chain link fence with 4’ pass through gate. • Supply and install a new Fuelmaster FMU-2500 fuel controller with the Fuelmaster Plus software and 60 Prokees or equivalent. • Supply and install a new Bennett 3000 single hose fuel dispenser, with a 3/4hp submersible pump in the tank or equivalent. • A new 4’x10’ steel island will be set for the dispenser, controller, and light pole, and protected by 4” steel bollards with covers. • A new 1½” steel product line will be run aboveground from the tank to the dispenser. • A Cat5 communication cable will be ran from the Fuelmaster to the adjacent building to tie into the existing network. • New power wiring will be pulled through the existing conduits to the new dispenser, fuel controller, and submersible pump
