Description | Programming Phase will provide an assessment of current conditions, ranked priority of needs, and development of construction cost estimates for each individual park, and assist in determining the overall total project budget. Division of Parks and Recreation will conduct a kickoff meeting at each park with park staff to discuss detailed items related to the programming with the selected designer. The project involves conducting a Programming Phase followed by full design, bidding, construction administration, and closeout services. This project includes water system and septic/sewer infrastructure repairs and improvements at the following NC State Parks: Falls Lake State Recreational Area (water/sewer), Hammocks Beach State Park-Bear Island (water/sewer), Jordan Lake State Recreational Area (water/sewer), Kerr Lake State Recreational Area (water/septic), Morrow Mountain State Park (water/sewer), Mount Mitchell State Park (water/sewer), and William B. Umstead State Park (sewer). In addition to the paper submittals, please email (Daron.Blount@ncparks.gov) a PDF copy of the submittal for easier electronic sharing to the selection committee members (hard copies are still required). Total Project Budget $29,000,000. In order to offer architectural, engineering, or landscape architectural services in response to this solicitation, the proposing firm must be properly licensed to practice Architecture, Engineering, or Landscape Architecture in the State of North Carolina.
