Well No. 18 Construction - City of Eden Prairie

This project includes a pre-siting hydrologic study, request and approval process from DNR, site selection and property acquisition, permits, easement definition or development, project engineering and management, and physical construction of the well. The project also includes piping to connect new municipal Well No. 18 to the water treatment plant. This phase of the project includes engineering design and construction of a low-pressure water main to carry the water to the nearest appropriate city well collector pipeline and will most likely be bid separately from the well construction. As February 22, 2023, this project is currently in the FY 2023-2032 CIP. Funding for this project is allotted in the city's capital improvement plan for construction FY 2027. A firm timeline has not been established; however, construction is scheduled for Fiscal Year 2027. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
