Description | 1. The tasks of this SOW for the Alternate ECP are: a. Demolish existing fence as shown on the plans. Save the gate for reinstallation. b. Install 7 foot high fencing with three strand outriggers as shown. This includes a concrete mow strip under the fence. See plans for details. Relocate existing manual sliding gate. c. Demolish existing marked asphalt drive including the base. Remove and dispose of properly off base. d. Install new curb where driveway was removed. Match existing. e. Remove curb where driveway is to be relocated to. f. Pave the demolished drive and new portion of the drive with new aggregate base and ACC pavement. Ensure the driveway drains properly so that there is no ponding after 24 hours of a rain event. Provide grading of ground around the drive to match new ACC pavement elevations while sloping away from the drive. Asphalt paving shall only take place during manufacturer recommended weather conditions. g. Restore grounds where pavement and fencing was removed. This shall include but is not limited to, fill, grading, seeding, etc… h. The catch basins in the adjacent area to soil disturbance areas need to be protected with silt sacks. Soil erosion permit is not required. Please follow the attached Selfridge Soil Erosion Notes. i. The area of work does contain contaminated soil and has relocation restrictions. Please follow attached media relocation restrictions. |
