Description

The Ben Chafin Lodge, Phase I include complete guestroom renovations in the Catawba Lodge. These renovations include complete refurbishment of the bathrooms including new fixtures, finishes, and lighting. The sleeping areas will have new gypsum wallboard installed to overlay existing wood paneling, new flooring, new paint, new lighting, and HVAC units. Additionally, two guestrooms will have their bathrooms upgraded to accessibility standards. Exterior renovations to the Catawba, Dogwood, Golden Rod, Hemlock, and Redbud Lodges include repainting of previously painted exposed steel framing, steel stairs, guardrails and railings, and painting of all wood siding, trim, soffits, and each level of balcony ceilings.
