MDE NO. 22-SF-0154 Procurement Program Participation Goals VSBE Participation (%) 1.0 MBE Participation (%) 20.00 Socio Economic Participation Criteria Solicitation Summary The project includes an approximately 4,985-square-foot addition to the Curation Storage and a 536-square-foot Isolation Room addition to the Maryland Archeological Conservation Laboratory. The remainder of the 39,517 square feet within the work area will encompass modifying the amount of compatible shelving, addressing repairs to the HVAC system and other building systems, and removing applicable underground storage tanks. The work shall be completed within 480 calendar days from the start date of the contract. The contract awarded to the successful Bidder pursuant to this IFB will be in the form of Attachment A. ALL DGS contracts must have a company seal or notary on the signature page of the contract in order for contracts to be executed. The deadline for questions has been established as September 18, 2023 @ 2:00 p.m Prevailing wage rates apply to all contracts in the amount of $250,000 or more. Wage rates applicable to projects of $250,000 or more are attached to the specifications Descriptions: Include the following: 1. Product name and model number. Use designations for products indicated on Contract Documents. 2. Manufacturer's name. 3. Equipment identification with serial number of each component. 4. Equipment function. 5. Operating characteristics. 6. Limiting conditions. 7. Performance curves. 8. Engineering data and tests. 9. Complete nomenclature and number of replacement parts. The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and includes, but is not limited to, the following: 1. Jefferson Patterson Park & Museum (JPPM) is a 560-acre state park and museum located along the Patuxent River in St. Leonard, Calvert County, Maryland. The park has some identified archaeological sites, hiking and biking trails, a canoe and kayak launch, a visitor's center with exhibits and a gift shop, an exhibit barn, a pavilion for event rental, a recreated Woodland Indian village, and a historic house. JPPM is also the home of the Maryland Archaeological Conservation Laboratory (MAC Lab), which houses almost 10 million artifacts. The MAC Lab serves as a clearinghouse for archaeological collections recovered from land-based and underwater projects conducted by State and Federal agencies throughout Maryland. 2. The project includes an approximately 4,985 square foot addition to the Curation Storage and a 536 square foot Isolation Room addition of the Maryland Archeological Conservation Laboratory. The remainder of the 39,517 square feet within the area of work will encompass modifying the amount of compactible shelving, address repairs to the HVAC system and other building systems, and removing applicable underground storage tanks.
