Road Resurfacing Project for Stonebridge Road and Wolfs Farm Road

ROAD RESURFACING PROJECT FOR STONEBRIDGE ROAD & WOLF'S FARM ROAD: The major construction items include approximately: 14,970 SY HMA Surface Milling, 3" or less; 900 SY HMA Milling, more than 3" to 6"; 2,250 Tons HMA 9.5M64 Surface Course (2.5-inch thickness); 270 Tons HMA 19M64 Base Course, 5-inch thickness; 10,790 LF Curb Sealant and other incidental work appurtenant thereto. Bids must be made on standard proposal forms provided in the Bid Package in the manner designated therein, and required by the Specifications, must be enclosed in sealed envelopes, bearing the name and address of the bidder and the name of the project on the outside, addressed to the Township of Union, 140 Perryville Road, Hampton, NJ 08827, and must be accompanied by a Non-Collusion Affidavit with either a Bid Bond or Certified Check for not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount bid, providing said check or bid bond need not be more than $20,000.00 nor shall not be less than $500.00, and such other documents and certifications as required in the Bid Package, and be delivered at the place on or before the hour named above. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A.10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C.17:27 et seq. Bidders are also required to conform to all provisions of the Local Public Contracts Law and the Prevailing Wage Act. The Union Township Mayor and Committee reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informality in any bid inuring to the benefit of the Township of Union. The completion time for this project shall be 20 working days as follows: Begin Contract Period 10 days after award of Contract Complete All Contract Construction 20 working days after beginning of Contract Period
