Playground Design at Sunnybrook Park

1. Playground shall meet all CPSC and ASTM safety guidelines 2. Playground shall meet all ADA regulations for playground equipment 3. Proposal shall have separate areas for 2 5 and 5 - 12 year olds 4. 70% of play equipment budget shall be directed toward 5-12 year play value. The 5-12 play structure shall be ramped. 5. 30% of play equipment budget shall be directed toward 2-5 year play value. 6. Approximately 40% of overall play feature budget to be focused on ADA accessibility and inclusive play design. 7. Playground must include a swing set 10’ high for 2 belt swings and a separate 8’ high swing set with 2 baby seats and 1 ADA swing package. Consider adding a double swing for adult and toddler to swing together. 8. Play design should balance physical, sensory, and social benefits. 9. 12” depth of engineered ASTM Certified Playground Wood Mulch Surface for playground and swing area. 10. Total budget including supply and installation of equipment and surfacing not to exceed $55,000.
