Each Bidder shall write his Certificate of Responsibility Number on the outside of the sealed envelope containing his proposal. A performance and payment bond for one hundred percent (100%) of the contract sum will be required of the successful bidder. In addition to the required bonds, the contractor must also supply general liability insurance for coverage in the amount not less than $1 million within 25 days of the awarded contract. Bids shall be submitted on the form furnished by the Architect and must be accompanied by Bid Bond or certified check for at least five percent (5%) of the base bid payable to Southwest Mississippi Community College. No bid may be withdrawn for 60 days after the actual date of the bid opening. The Owner reserves the right to waive any and/or all formalities or to reject any and/or all bids submitted. .
