Description

Project was awarded to Trine Construction Corp. in the amount of $419,065.10. Bidders shall submit all bid questions through Quest CDN. The deadline to submit questions is 12:00 PM on Wednesday, October 26, 2022. Elburn Station Park Storm Sewer Outfall, Water Service and Path Extension Improvements; which consists of which consists of 876 of 12 RCP storm sewer, 181 of directionally drilled 12 PVC (SDR-26 with Certi-Flo RJIB, 120 of directionally drilled 10 PVC (SDR-26 with Certi-Flo RJIB, 240 of 6 PVC water main, bike path removal and replacement, and various other utility and site improvements. BIDDER shall be substantially complete with the Elburn Station Park Storm Sewer Outfall, Water Service and Path Extension Improvements within thirty (30) days thereafter. Substantially complete is defined as Completion of Bid Items 1, 2, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16 and 18, subject to adverse weather conditions. In any event, the above Bid Items shall be completed within sixty (60) days thereafter. Full completion shall be within one-hundred eighty (180) days of the Notice to Proceed. A Certified Check or Bank Draft, Payable to the Order of the Village of Elburn Negotiable U.s. Government Bond (at Par Value) or a Satisfactory Bid Bond Executed by the Bidder and an Acceptable Surety in an Amount Equal to Five Percent (5%) of the Total Bid Shall Be Submitted With Each Bid. Attention is Called to the Fact That Not Less Than the Minimum Salaries and Wages as Set Forth in the Contract Documents Must Be Paid on This Project and That the Contractor Must Ensure That Employees and Applicants for Employment Are Not Discriminated Against Because of Their Race, Color, Religion, Sex, or National Origin. The Village of Elburn Reserves the Right to Reject All Bids or to Waive Any Informalities in the Bidding. Bids May Be Held by the Village of Elburn for a Period Not to Exceed 60 Days From the Date of the Opening of Bids for the Purpose of Reviewing the Bids and Investigating the Qualifications of Bidders, Prior to Awarding of the Contract.
