Description | At the Second Floor Meeting Room A of City Hall, Yankton, SD. Disposition of said bid will be held on the 10th day of April, 2023, at 7:00 p.m. in the City of Yankton Community Meeting Room located in the CMTEA Building at 1200 West 21st Street, Yankton, SD. The sealed bid must include the following: Details regarding preparation of the entire court surfaces such as being power washed with 4000psi pressure and then utilizing a special designed walk behind spinner head that deep cleans and scarifies the surface to give a 100% mechanical bond for the new coatings, or equivalent process. Details of the plans to fill depressions utilizing Nova Sports 100% acrylic latex patch binder, seal cracks utilizing Nova Sports 100% latex Crack Flex, and prepare the surface for painting, or utilizing equivalent substitutes. Details of the layers of surface paint, latex primer, etc., are also required. Nova Sports 100% acrylic color coating system with silica sand added, or equivalent substitutes for color coating system, for a medium-speed playing surface required. Details of painting the lines utilizing Nova Sports 100% latex line paint and Nova Sports Line Sharp to prevent paint bleeding, or equivalent substitutes. Warranty information for the surface work including crack sealing and painting is required. Proposals shall address all of the information outlined herein. Additionally, each prospective firm may include such additional information as deemed pertinent to the proper evaluation of their proposal. Typewritten proposals only shall be submitted along with the bid form document, and each bound to create its own single document containing all required material. All bidders are responsible for obtaining any information pertinent to the proper evaluation of the project.
