| Description | As of March 18 2022 this is in planning and should start in early 2023. The Monroe Road Streetscape project team evaluated improvements to the Monroe Road corridor between Briar Creek Road and Sharon Amity Road to create a more pedestrian-friendly and mixed-use development corridor. Includes a 10-foot-wide multiuse path and planting strip to separate the path from the roadway. Other improvements include new mid-block pedestrian crossings, new crosswalks and pedestrian signals at existing intersections and bus stop improvements. |
