Description | As of March 15, 2023 , this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. work consists of expanding the existing Broadway Blvd. Northbound Right-of way from Meadowbrook Drive to US-181 frontage road to accommodate a right turning lane. Improvement consists of removing approximately two feet of existing roadway, sidewalk, curb inlet, driveways, valley gutter, curb & gutter and replace with approximately 10 feet wide new paved lane, including storm inlet adjustment, new ADA ramps, sidewalk, pavement striping/markings & signage throughout the project. Sacramento Street Extension work consists of new multiple box-culvert Bridge, including, pave roadway section, sidewalk, curb & gutter, railing, ADA ramps, pavement striping/markings & signage, ditch, and drainage improvement to accommodate new bridge. Traffic Signal work consist of installation of a 4-way traffic signal at California Drive and Broadway Boulevard Intersection, including electrical services and all related appurtenances. All work shall be completed in accordance with the construction plans, specifications, and contract documents. A bid bond in the amount of 5% of the highest amount bid must accompany each proposal. Failure to provide the bid bond will constitute a non-responsive proposal which will not be considered. Failure to provide required performance and payment bonds for contracts over $25,000.00 will result in forfeiture of the 5% bid bond to the City as liquidated damages. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive irregularities and to accept the bid which, in the City's opinion, seems most advantageous to the City and in the best interest of the Public. |
