Description

DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has a requirement for asphalt paving at DeGray Lake in Arkansas. The work consists of furnishing all materials, equipment, labor, supervision, and incidentals necessary to repair failed areas, pave roadways, and striping at the locations shown on the drawings; and all work incidental thereto at DeGray Lake in Arkansas. Principal features of the work include mobilization and demobilization, sweeping, repairing failed areas in existing pavement, placing asphalt concrete hot mix on surface course, installing new raised pavement markers, pavement lettering, symbols, and markings, and environmental protection. The estimated value of the proposed work is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. This requirement is being procured under FAR 14, Sealed Bidding. The solicitation is anticipated to be issued as an Invitation for Bid (IFB) and the resulting contract shall be Firm Fixed-Price (FFP). The solicitation is expected to be issued on or about 05 August 2022, with a bid opening date on or about 08 September 2022. Plans and Specifications will be available on the System for Award (SAM) web page at https://sam.gov. The bidding instructions and closing date for submission of bids will be contained in the solicitation notice. The Government will not provide compact discs or hard copies of the solicitation. Potential contractors are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of the solicitation package and any amendments. The solicitation documents for this procurement will be posted on https://sam.gov. Bidders are encouraged, for marketing purposes, to register as an Interested Vendor on https://sam.gov.
