Southwest Independent School District Aquatics Center

This new facility will be located on Southwest Loop 410 directly North of Christa McAuliffe Middle School. The two-level structure houses two Myrtha swimming pools: a 50-meter competition pool with diving and a 25-yard instructional / warmup pool. The support spaces on the First Level include restrooms, lockers / showers, classroom, weight room, pool equipment storage and the main public entry. Spectator seating is located on the Second Level, along with meeting rooms and offices for coaches and District personnel. The main pool area is ventilated and heated only. The remainder of the facility has a full HVAC system. The site is fully developed, with asphalt parking areas, concrete curbs / sidewalks, landscaping / irrigation and underground utilities.
