Sanitary Sewer System Rehabilitation 2022

The proposed work for which the City of Sterling Illinois is soliciting bids consists of one contract SANITARY SEWER SYSTEM REHABILITATION 2022 and includes the following Install a curedinplace liner in 1145 feet of 24" diameter 362 feet of 15" diameter and 845 feet of 8" diameter sanitary sewers install chemical grouting of 62 sanitary sewer services and manhole rehabilitations complete with appurtenances and surface restoration A certified check or bank draft, payable to the order of the City of Sterling negotiable U.S. Government Bonds (at par value) or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid shall be submitted with each bid. Attention is called to the fact that not less than the minimum salaries and wages as set forth in the Contract Documents must be paid on this project, and that the CONTRACTOR must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, color, religion, sex or national origin. Bids may be held by the City of Sterling for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of the opening of bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of bidders, prior to awarding the Contract 1. Install a cured-in-place liner in approximately 2,352 feet of 24" diameter sanitary sewer. 2. Install a cured-in-place liner in approximately 362 feet of 15" diameter sanitary sewer. 3. Install a cured-in-place liner in approximately 845 feet of 8" diameter sanitary sewer. 4. Reinstate and chemically grout 62 sewer services. 5. Install a spray on liner in approximately 77.5 vertical feet of sanitary manhole and one sanitary structure. 6. Replace (12) manhole adjustment rings and castings.
