Information Systems Campus Fiber Ring

The project is for the campus fiber ring project. The project includes upgrading the fiber network infrastructure throughout campus. Associated work includes installing hand holes at various locations around campus, directional boring and installing conduits between hand holes, directional boring from handholes to buildings, and installation of fiber, tracer wire, and pull string in conduit. Within buildings conduit shall be routed to existing data racks in IT Rooms. All conduit, hand holes and fiber will be supplied by the owner. Murray State University, Procurement Services, reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive all formalities and/or technicalities where the best interest of the University may be served. All bids shall be accompanied by a bid guarantee of not less than five (5%) percent of the amount of the basebid. A 100% Performance Bond and 100% Payment Bond shall be furnished by the successful bidder. All bonding and insurance requirements are contained in the Instruction to Bidders and/or General Conditions.
