Description | Providing all Labor, equipment, materials, supplies, insurance, etc.., necessary to create a new gravel road and parking lot at Popes Creek WMA, 10883 Popes Creek Road, Newburg, Charles county, MD 20664. 1. Clear and grub a minimum area for the construction of the 50' Stabilized Construction Entrance (SCE) and new culvert pipe extensions. 2. Build a stabilized construction entrance (SCE) in accordance with MDE criteria, to create site access, refer to the approved MDE Permit detail 3. Excavate for and install two new 6' Concrete (12") culvert pipes onto the ends of the existing 12" Concrete culvert pipe under the main entrance 4. Clear and grub all vegetation within the limit of Disturbance (LOD) 5. Install approximately 1,113 LF of silt fence in accordance with the Attached MDE SEC permit 6. Excavate the entire new roadways parking area to a depth 6" below grade, approximately 15,240 SF. Ensure that the Correct radiuses are met where the road expands to the parking area 7. Compact newly exposed soil thoroughly using a mechanical vibrating roller then install geotextile fabric over all exposed soil. approximately 15,240 SF. no soil shall be left uncovered overnight if inclement weather is expected. 8. Install the specified timbers with rebar around the parking area as shown on the drawings, approximately 150 LF 9. Install 4" of stone Base to the entire roadway/Parking area , approximately 260tons, and completed using a mechanical vibrating roller. stone bae will be calculated using Unit Price 1 10 Install 5" of stone Base to the entire roadway/Parking area , approximately 420 tons Compact using a mechanical vibrating roller. CR-6 stone bae will be calculated using Unit Price 2 11. Once roadway and Parking area have been stabilized and grade excavated for and install a 10'x40' rain garden in the location identified on and in accordance with the MDE Permit and construction drawings 12. Removed the Stabilized construction Entrance and cry construction debris 13. Grade and stabilize any disturbed soil using the specified seed and straw |
