Colington Road - SR 1217 Water Main Improvements Project

Installation of approximately 3,170 LF of 8-inch water main, 40 feet of 6-inch water main, 320 feet of 2- inch water main, fire hydrants, valves and associated appurtenances along Colington Road (SR 1217) (from Bermuda Bay Boulevard east to US 158), Park Drive and West Aviation Avenue to relocate and replace existing 6-inch and 2-inch water main. The proposed 8-inch water main will connect to an existing 8-inch water main just west of the intersection of Bermuda Bay Boulevard and Colington Road and will connect to an existing 16-inch water main along US 158 near West Aviation Drive. Existing water mains in Colington Road, Park Drive and W. Aviation Avenue will be abandoned in place and, in some cases, filled with flowable fill. Concrete and asphalt work will include partial removal and construction of new driveway segments and removal and replacement of several areas of the existing multi-use path as necessary. Incidental clearing, pavement cuts/patch, reseeding and restoration, etc. is also included.
