Description

Project Description: Stout is looking forward to constructing this Charter School located in Heber City, UT. This is for PHASE ONE ONLY and is approximately 13,500 sq. ft. The start date is 7/27/2022 with a finish date of 12/31/2022 There will be a job walk with a tentative date of 7/7/2022. General Instructions to bidders . Sub-contractors are to familiarize themselves with the bidding documents including the plans (all pages) specifications, Addenda and other documents provided. . This is for PHASE ONE ONLY and all proposals should reflect only work shown in PHASE ONE. . Stout is committed to safety and as part of that will require that all subcontractors submit a Job Hazard Assessment worksheet as part of a written, project specific safety plan before they begin their scope of work on site. . Subcontractors who are awarded a contract with Stout will be required to submit breakout cost of their bid in the form of a schedule of values that is sufficient to accurately assess the percentage of work complete for billing purposes. The schedule of values must at a minimum break out the cost of labor and material for the contracted scope of work. . Subcontractors who are awarded a contract with Stout will be required to submit a schedule of work that captures the anticipated durations of each scope of work to be completed by the subcontractor, including the number of employees the subcontractor will have on site during those durations to complete the work. These schedules will be complied in the master construction schedule at which time each subcontractor will have the opportunity to review and finalize the master construction schedule. . All sub-contractors will be required to provide a procurement schedule with anticipated lead times for materials on the project. Lead times should be based on the duration of time for the material to arrive on site from the day the order was placed. It is in the best interest of the sub-contractor to provide Stout with these lead times as quoted from your supplier/distributor rather than an estimate from the subcontractor based on previous experience or best guess. . Submittals for your scope of work are your responsibility to provide within the time frame allowed by your contract and are considered to be in your court at the time the contract is executed. Subcontractors are responsible to meet the requirements of the specifications in regard to submittals. Submittals will be reviewed by Stout and if they are do not meet the requirements of the specifications, they will be returned to you for revisions. If the submittals require subsequent revisions, Stout will request compensation from the sub-contractor for each revision necessary. . Task lighting to be provided by sub-contractor performing the task . Liquidated damages for substantial completion are set to $200 per calendar day as per the prime contract agreement. . Bid bonds may be required upon review of subcontractor qualifications. Please provide bonding rate with your proposal. . Is this project tax exempt The scope of work is to include but not limited to concrete, structural steel, erection, drywall and metal stud framing, insulation, paint, tile, flooring, finishes, fire sprinklers, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, earthwork, etc. Subcontractors will carefully and thoroughly review the drawings and specifications, satisfying themselves as to the nature and location of the work and the character, quality, quantities of materials and difficulties that may be encountered, the kind and extent of equipment and other facilities needed for the performance of the work and any other items which may affect the work or its performance.
