Description | The Project consists of a new 2.5 MGD (peak 6.7 MGD) wastewater treatment facility including, but not limited to an access road, influent structure, influent pump station, headworks building housing screening and grit removal equipment, oxidation ditch, two secondary clarifiers with a flow split structure, UV disinfection building, effluent structure, RAS/WAS and scum pump stations, two aerobic digester tanks, digester building housing blowers and solids thickening equipment, solids dewatering building housing a screw press, odor control systems, plant water and potable water systems, support buildings and associated civil, sitework, site utilities, structural, architectural, mechanical, plumbing and electrical work. The successful bidder will be required to agree that not less than the state prevailing rate of wages, or Davis Bacon federal prevailing wage rates, whichever is greater, shall be paid to all workmen, laborers, and mechanics performing their work under this contract. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum basis. All bids must be submitted on forms furnished by the Engineer. Each separate bid will be required to remain open for a period of up to ninety (90) days after bids are opened. Electronic copies of documents may be obtained free of charge. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Officee. The Owner reserves the right to reject all Bids; to reject any non-responsive Bid; to waive informalities in the Bids; and to determine the low, responsive, responsible Bid. The Owner reserves the right to award the project in a manner that is deemed by the Owner to be in the best interests of the Duckett Creek Sanitary District. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. This project has an estimated value range of $30-35 Million. |
