Description | The bidder shall include the email subject line: "BID #27-22 Short Street Basin Sewer Improvements - Phase I". The bid shall be submitted as a Portable Document Format (PDF) document. Any Bids received after the specified time will not be considered. The Project contemplated consists of sewer rehabilitation by pipe bursting, manhole replacement, reconnection of sewer services, installation of sewer service lines, and associated work. The Work will be completed in all respects within 210 calendar days from the date when the Contract Times commence to run. Each Bid must be submitted on the prescribed Bid Form and accompanied by Bid security as prescribed in the Instructions to Bidders. Bidders should submit with their bids a Drug-Free Workplace Affidavit of Prime Bidder as required by TCA Section 50-9-113. A Title VI Disclosure should also be included with the bid to assist with the City of Maryville's compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. The Successful Bidder will be required to furnish the additional bond(s) and insurance prescribed in the Bidding Documents. In order to perform public work, the Successful Bidder and Subcontractors shall hold licenses as required by Tennessee Statutes TCA 62 6 119. Bidder must submit evidence of license in the appropriate classification with its Bid. No Bid will be considered without such evidence. In accordance with Tennessee Statute 12 4 602, Bidders who have pleaded guilty or pleaded nolo contendere to or have been convicted of violations of the Sherman Antitrust Act, mail fraud, or any other federal or state criminal statute in connection with contract let or funded by state or other state entity within 25 years from date of offense shall not be eligible to Bid. A payment bond as described in the Supplementary Conditions shall be furnished after award of Contract.
