Description | LI 001: Realign 44 x Motorola 800 mhz XTS portable radio to P25 digital protocol, and realign 31 Motorola 800 mhz XTS mobile/consolette radios to P25 digital protocol, 1, EA; LI 002: – Establish a back-up communications dispatch center at Fort Sill Fire Station #1. Install 5 radio systems, To include their antenna systems, 1 x VHF, 2 x UHF, and 2 x 800 mhz. The VHF antenna system will be installed on an existing 100’ monopole and will utilize a Sinclair SD210 single dipole antenna or equivalent. Provide 200’ of LMR400 coaxial cable with this system to include 4 appropriate connectors and a polyphaser lightning arrestor and rack-mount type AC surge protector. A hoisting grip will be needed to install the antenna system. The 2 x UHF antenna systems will utilize a Huber+Suhner 380-430 mhz 2 dB gain omni antenna with 75’ runs of RG-213 coax with appropriate connectors. A 1-hole entry panel with boot and 4-hole cushion will be required for the coaxial cable to enter the building. Two 800 mhz antennas will be required that are omnidirectional and have at least 3 dB of gain. They will also require 75’ of RG-213 coax cable with appropriate connectors. The UHF and 800 mhz antennas will require antenna stand-offs as the antennas will be mounted to the side of the fire station building. The lone VHF antenna system will utilize an existing underground conduit run to get into the building. Two of the three stations will be dual banded and have two antenna systems connected to each radio. Three base stations will be set up in the dispatch room, two of which will be provided by Fort Sill, and one VHF station provided by the vendor. The provided VHF station will utilize a desk microphone. These three stations will be installed and tested for proper operation., 1, EA; LI 003: Upgrade existing mobile command post with additional equipment. Execute changes to mobile command Post by positioning radio equipment and accessories per the diagram provided. Existing installed equipment is a Zetron 4010 hard-console, 800 mhz unit up front, and 800 mhz unit mounted in back center part of vehicle. In existing rack-mounted cabinetry, mount 2 x 800 mhz consolettes, 1 x UHF (380 mhz unit) provided by Ft. Sill, 1 VHF transceiver, 2 x tone remote adapters, and 1 x rack-mount power supply (providing power for 4 transceivers). In addition, on the driver’s side of the middle portion cabinetry, mount a UHF (380 mhz) unit, a VHF unit, an airband unit, & 35 amp power supply for the 3 units. The UHF (380) unit will be provided by Ft. Sill and the other 3 items will be provided by the vendor. An- tenna systems coax kits are already installed in the command post, but NMO-mount antennas for 7 coax systems will need to be provided and installed – those include 2 x low profile 800 mhz, 1 x airband, 2 x VHF ¼ wave, and 2 x UHF ¼ wave antennas |
