Emergency Construction Services Contract

Scope of Services SCOPE OF REQUIRED WORK AND SERVICES. The City intends to award contracts to pre-qualified Contractors immediately following disasters, accidents, or other events which threaten to damage or destroy public facilities. The Contractor shall provide all management, supervision, labor services, equipment, tools, health, and safety plans, environmental monitoring, and any other items required for the Project. 2.1 SERVICES. 2.1.1 The specific scope of work and the specification of materials to be used for any Work assigned under the Contract will be determined by the City Engineer or designee. Design and construction will be in accordance with City Standard Specifications for Public Works Construction, The GREENBOOK and WHITEBOOK, as last revised and adopted by the City, any supplements thereto, and additional references outlined in the actual contract for emergency service Work. 2.1.2 The selected firm will enter into an agreement with the City. The performance period for each contract awarded will include an initial base period of 2 years with an additional 1 year option period for a total performance period of three (3) years.
