Engineering Services Butler and Bessie Basin Stormwater Maintenance Improvements

The deign is strictly for stormwater design but may include add alts for potable water and fire flow protection designs based upon the Town’s adopted Water Utility Master Plan. The Town recently adopted concepts to guide the design phase. The design will not follow Green Book Standards. The Town of Windermere will be utilizing best practices when it comes to stormwater management only. The dirt roads and the existing widths of those roads are to be maintained. The design will also limit the amount of right of way used to ensure that the appearance and look of the road and adjacent properties remain as it exists today and mirrors as reasonably as possible what it will look like at the final design. The Town was awarded two HMGP Grants and will submit to FDEM on behalf of FEMA for design approval to move into construction phase.
