Sewer Rehabilitation - Point Repairs

The project includes five segments that will need open-cut pipe replacement. 1. Moore St. (MH206_MH191): Replace 17 LF of corrugated metal pipe with 24” Sanitite pipe. Existing point repair is a smaller diameter corrugated metal pipe. Defect begins at approximately 43.1’ and continues to 60.7’. 2. Crawford St. (MH233_MH231): Replace 5 LF of corrugated metal pipe with 48” Sanitite pipe. Corrugated metal pipe is broken and with soil visible. Defect begins at 327’ and terminated at the downstream manhole (332.5’). 3. Crawford St. (MH141_MH138): Replace 10 LF of corrugated metal pipe with 30” Sanitite pipe. Corrugated metal pipe is broken with soil visible. Defect begins at approximately 153.8’ and continues to 157’. 4. Lefferson Ave. (MH2477_MH2476): Replace 5 LF of corrugated metal pipe with 36” Sanitite pipe. Install two Weko Seals, one on each end of pipe replacement. Corrugated metal pipe has bulging inverse curvature at the 12 o’clock position. Defect beings as 47.8’ and continues to 49.5’. 5. Superior Ave. (MH377_MH375): Replace 110 LF of vitrified clay pipe with 18” Sanitite pipe. Replace pipe to nearest joint and seal. Vitrified clay pipe has multiple hinged cracks, fractures, and broken pieces. Defect begins at MH 377 and continues until 110’.
