Description

Kearsley High School Media Center Remodel Sealed Envelope must include 2 copies of the completed Form of Proposal (section 00 4000) and a Bid Bond or certified check in the amount of 5% of the bid (for Bids over $50,000). Any questions should be directed to the Architect's office. A bid bond executed by a U.S. Treasury Listed Surety Company in favor of the Owner or a cashier's check in the amount of at least five percent (5%) of the base bid payable to Kearsley Community Schools shall be submitted with each proposal. This bid bond shall accompany each proposal. Successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory Performance and Payment Bonds. BID QUESTIONS: Bid questions should be directed to the Architect by email to sethh@frenchaia.com. The deadline for bid questions is 5:00 pm on Monday, January 23, 3033. All bidders must provide familial disclosure in compliance with MCL 380.1267 (P.A. 232 of 2004) and attach this information to the bid. The bids shall be accompanied by a sworn and notarized statement disclosing any familial relationship that exists between the owner or any employee of the bidder and any member of the board of education or the superintendent of Kearsley Community Schools. The Owner will not accept a bid that does not include this sworn and notarized disclosure statement. NON- WITHDRAWAL: All bids shall be held open and irrevocable for a period of sixty (60) days from the Due Date. RIGHTS RESERVED BY THE OWNER: The Owner reserves the right to award the Contract to other than the low bidder, accept or reject any or all bids, in whole or in part, waive any informalities, accept any bid when, in the opinion of the Owner such action will serve the best interests of the Kearsley Community School District. Contract award is planned for February 13, 2023
