Description

The USDA ARS has a requirement for Wastewater Treatment Plant SCADA Controls and Instrumentation maintenance to all Wastewater Treatment Plant SCADA Controls and Instrumentation system located at the National Bio and Agro-Defense Facility (NBAF) Campus. NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD-SOLE SOURCE PROCUREMENT TO LARGE BUSINESS The Government intends to pursue a Sole Source Award to R.E. Pedrotti Company Inc. for Wastewater Treatment Plant SCADA Controls & Instrumentation Maintenance NBAF. This maintenance includes R.E. Pedrotti proprietary system and software, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements". Summary of Award The USDA National Bio and Agro-Defense Facility (NBAF), located in Manhattan Kansas is soliciting for a non-personal services contract to provide Wastewater Treatment Plant SCADA Controls and Instrumentation maintenance to all Wastewater Treatment Plant SCADA Controls and Instrumentation system located at the NBAF Campus. Per specifications listed below. Specifications Vendor shall provide maintenance to all Wastewater Treatment Plant SCADA Controls and Instrumentation system to the proprietary software. Service location: NBAF facility 1980 Denison Ave Manhattan Kansas POC: Justin Schlegel Justin.Schlegel@usda.gov The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within fifteen days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
