Description

**As of April 26, 2023, project was awarded to Umpqua Aggregate Resources Excavation & Paving, awarded amount is $126,125.75.** Start and Completion Dates: The work covered by this Project shall begin April 17, 2023 and be completed by June 30, 2023. Once work commences, the Contractor must maintain continuous work to ensure the Project is completed prior to June 30, 2023. Deadline to submit written questions and requests for clarification March 16, 2023 BID GUARANTY: Pursuant to ORS 279C.365(5), the Bidder shall submit to the County with the Bid as Bid security a surety bond, an irrevocable letter of credit issued by an insured institution as defined in ORS 706.008, a cashier's check, or a certified check payable to the County in an amount equal to 10% of the Bid Price (without regard to Alternates). PERFORMANCE AND PAYMENT BOND: The County will require a performance and payment bond satisfactory and acceptable to the County in the amount of the Contract. Purpose of Contract - Add the following to the end of the bullet list: o Diligently prosecute the Work without interruption in accordance with the approved Progress Schedule. o Control the actions of all persons who are engaged in the Work and assure that they comply with the Contract Documents; o Cooperate with other prime contractors who are working on the Project as stated in the Contract Documents. Add the following language to this Subsection: Unless specific provisions of the Contract Documents state otherwise, the Contractor shall pay all costs incurred in performance of the Contractor's obligations under the Contract Documents. The obligations of the Contractor under the Contract Documents regarding performance of the Work will apply to Subcontractors and Suppliers with respect to the Work that they perform and the Materials that they supply, and the Contractor will be responsible for such Work and Materials. Estimated value: $140-$180K *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
