Bedico Regional WWTP Improvements

The Project consists of: Improvement of the existing Bedico Regional wastewater treatment plant by dewatering, installation of temporary force mains, installation of temporary aeration, installation of haul-in/grade/compact backfill (truck measure), installation of limestone (#57) (truck measure), installation of new aeration equipment (blowers, yard piping, and aerators), installation of new control structures, installation of baffle curtain systems, installation of a new headworks, installation of new chlorine contact chamber and chlorine disinfection equipment, flow monitoring equipment, electrical and related work as called for on the drawings, indicated on the Bid Form, or reasonably implied. Contract term: 300 calendar days Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a unit price basis as indicated in the Bid Form. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Prospective Bidders shall obtain Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office between the hours of 8:00 am 4:00 pm (Monday-Thursday), and 8:00 am 12 noon (Friday), and may examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office as described herein. Bidding Documents may also be examined at the Office of the General Manager, Sewerage District No. 1 of Tangipahoa Parish; 15485 W. Club DeLuxe Road; Hammond, LA 70403. Checks for Bidding Documents shall be payable to Spangler Engineering, LLC. Upon request and receipt of the document deposit indicated above the Issuing Office will transmit the Bidding Documents via delivery service. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the Bidders date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office.
