Description | The Contractor shall provide all personnel, supervision, labor, tools, and equipment necessary for services as specified in this solicitation for demolishing, furnishing, installing, and assembling one single door with frame in room #2024 and two double doors in room #2021 as described below. 1) Doors shall be Acrovyn doors with removable edges. Contractor shall size and rate Acrovyn doors and frames to match existing doors and frames. 2) Contractor shall precut doors to meet all door mounting, locking devices, and hardware. 3) All fasteners shall have tamper resistant ratings. 4) Door frames shall be primed and ready for paint. 5) All fire rated assemblies shall be restored to meet The National Fire Prevention Association (NFPA) code requirements. 6) All dust containment shall be used to meet all the Federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and The Virginia Occupational Safety and Health (VOSH) standards and requirements. 7) Door closers and locking hardware may be re-used if deemed to be in a good working condition, otherwise, the contractor shall provide door closers and locking hardware. 8) Contractor shall furnish and install doors, frame, continuous hinges (to be used for all doors), flush bolts, and protection plates. 9) Contractor will be responsible for all door and assembly measurements prior to ordering and all measurements required for installation (this can be done during the pre-bid site visit). And, doors color will be determined post-award. 10) All existing surfaces, wall coverings, and flooring are to be protected from damage. 11) All new electrical and door control work shall be completed. 12) Any special containment equipment / devices required to maintain safe and healthy working environment and the safety / security of patients, ESH staff, and contractor’s employees/labors are the responsibility of the Contractor. |
