| Description | The work generally consists of grouting and abandonment of approximately 75 linear feet of 8-inch VCP sanitary sewer; removal and disposal of approximately 250 linear feet of 8-inch VCP sanitary sewer and associated 4-inch and 6-inch sanitary sewer laterals; construction of replacement gravity sewer including installation of approximately 321 linear feet of 8-inch PVC pipe, replacement of 4-inch and 6-inch PVC service laterals, installation of a precast concrete manhole, and modification of an existing manhole; maintenance of gravity wastewater flows; the installation of approximately 6 linear feet of 12-inch RCP storm sewer, precast concrete type 'B' inlet, and 2 precast concrete storm manholes; the replacement of asphalt, sidewalk, and curb disturbed with the project limits; and the implementation of traffic control. The work is located along Harmony Street, adjacent to Somerset Street within the Borough of North Plainfield and includes: site work and general construction. | ||||
