Description | Please refer to the plans and permits for the full details. This project generally consists of overbuilding the pavement to create a super elevation in a curve. This project also consists of constructing a paved shoulder, milling and resurfacing, extending a drainage pipe, and constructing endwalls and ditch lining. This is not intended to be a comprehensive list, please refer to the attached plans and permits under Attachments N and O. Question End Date 3/21/2023 5:00 PM Questions regarding this bid must be received through written email or faxed inquiries directed to the designated Procurement Services Representative. Questions of sufficient general interest will be formatted by the Procurement Services Office and issued to all interested parties in the form of an addendum. The deadline for questions is Tuesday, March 21 2023, at 5:00PM, Local Time. Bid Bond. Where applicable, each bid must be accompanied by a bid security equaling 5% of the total bid. The bid security may be submitted in the form of a standard form bid bond from a surety licensed to do business in Florida and with a Bests or equivalent rating of A+ or more, or by a certified check, or a cashiers check. Failure to submit the bid security will result in the disqualification of your bid. Failure to submit bid security in the form of a bid bond may be used by the County as an indicator of financial non-responsibility. The terms of the bid security shall be that either the bidder will enter into the contract if awarded to the bidder, or the surety (or alternate form of security forfeit) will be responsible for the costs resulting from the failure of the bidder to enter into the contract including the increased costs associated with taking the next lowest responsive, responsible bidder and costs associated with conducting the bid and letting the contract. Correction or Withdrawal of Bids. Pursuant to Chapter 3, Section 3.4-2 (D) of the Osceola County Administrative Code, after bid opening, no changes in Bid prices or other Bid provisions shall be permitted. In the event of mathematical mistakes in extended pricing, the unit price shall prevail. Mistakes discovered before opening may be modified or withdrawn via written notice from the bidder if received in the Procurement Services Office prior to the time set for Bid opening, as deemed appropriate by the Procurement Services Director. |
