Description

The Village of Spring Lake (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project: USDA Utility Improvements The Project include the following Work: Project #1: South Street Utility Improvements Approximately 1,200 feet of street reconstruction on South Street, including water main replacement with lead water service replacement, sanitary sewer lining/replacement, select storm sewer replacement, concrete curb and gutter, select concrete sidewalk, and HMA paving. Reconstruction includes manholes, catch basins, valves, hydrants, fittings, restoration, and all appurtenant work. Project #2: South Lake Lift Station Improvements Improvements to the South Lake Lift Station include modifications to the wet well structure, installation of submersible pumps in wet well, lining wet well, new precast concrete valve chamber structure, new controls and instrumentation, new standby generator and ATS, new control panel enclosure, utility coordination for asset removal/relocation, new force main discharge piping connected to existing force main, removal of pumps, valves, and piping within dry well, decommissioning and abandoning dry well in place, sanitary sewer manhole installation, concrete pad removal and replacement, bypass pumping and/or pump and haul, SESC, restoration, and all appurtenant work. Project #3: Rex/Dixie/Monarch/Liberty Utility Improvements Approximately 1,500 feet of street reconstruction on Rex Street, Dixie Street, Monarch Street, and Liberty Street, including water main replacement with lead water service replacement, sanitary sewer replacement, select storm sewer replacement, select concrete curb and gutter, select concrete sidewalk, and HMA paving. Reconstruction includes manholes, catch basins, leaching basins, valves, hydrants, fittings, restoration, and all appurtenant work. Project #4: North Park Utility Improvements Approximately 1,150 feet of street reconstruction on North Park Street, including water main replacement with lead water service replacement, sanitary sewer lining/replacement, select storm sewer replacement, concrete curb and gutter, select concrete sidewalk, and HMA paving. Reconstruction includes manholes, catch basins, leaching basins, valves, hydrants, fittings, restoration, and all appurtenant work. Project #5: Prospect Street Utility Improvements Approximately 1,400 feet of street reconstruction on Prospect Street, including water main replacement with lead water service replacement, sanitary sewer lining/replacement, select storm sewer replacement, select concrete curb and gutter, select concrete sidewalk, and HMA paving. Reconstruction includes manholes, catch basins, valves, hydrants, fittings, restoration, and all appurtenant work. Project #6: South Park/South Division/Summit Utility Improvements Approximately 1,400 feet of street reconstruction on South Park Street, South Division Street, and Summit Street, including water main replacement with lead water service replacement, sanitary sewer lining/replacement, select storm sewer replacement, concrete curb and gutter, select concrete sidewalk, and HMA paving. Reconstruction includes manholes, catch basins, leaching basins, valves, hydrants, fittings, restoration, and all appurtenant work. Project is federally funded and requires American Iron and Steel (AIS) Standards. This project will be funded by the Village of Spring Lake, along with federal USDA funds and grants Only Bidders who have been prequalified by the Village within the required days in advance of the bid opening in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders section will have their bids opened and read. For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents. All Proposals shall be made in accordance with Bidding Documents. A Proposal Guarantee payable to the Village of Spring Lake in the sum of five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid must accompany the Proposal in accordance with the Information for Bidders. The right is reserved by the Village of Spring Lake to accept any Proposal, reject any or all Proposals, and to waive informalities in bidding when it is deemed to be in the interest of the Village of Spring Lake. Owner anticipates that the Project's total bid price will be approximately $6,650,000.00. The Project has an expected duration of 1,095 days.
