Riverwalk East Expansion

The project is an extension of the City`s existing park along the Manatee River and is being designed to extend the park from its current terminus at 2nd Street East to 14th Street East in four (4) phases. The CMR will be selected to provide services for all four (4) phases of the project. The CMR will examine the project area and coordinate with the landscape architect (Kimley-Horn) on the phasing plan for the overall project. The project involves construction of a new passive public park with integrated water features to encourage public interaction, concrete sidewalks, landscape plantings, an over-water boardwalk and improvements to an existing dock/pier within the Manatee River. It also includes streetscape improvements to existing city roadways that will include public furniture, trees and landscape plantings, and a new handrail system for an existing seawall. Additionally, the project includes roadway construction associated with shifting roadway pavement within the existing ROW

Division 32 -	Exterior Improvements, Flexible Paving, Asphalt Paving, Rigid Paving, Concrete Paving, Paving Specialties, Pavement Markings, Athletic and Recreational Surfacing, Site Improvements, Fences and Gates, Planting.
Division 33 -	Utilities, Storm Drainage Utilities, Storm Drainage Structures.
