Corridor 84 Streetscape - Phase 1C - STRT23005 - City of La Vista

As part of the 84th Street redevelopment effort, City Ventures, a private development company, is creating a mixed-use project (City Centre). The City Central Park immediately abuts the development. The Park Master Plan calls for the park and the City Centre project to connect with the west side of 84th Street via an underpass. In anticipation of multiple large-scale events being held in the park and the public spaces in City Centre, the area where the pool is now located is slated to be converted into additional usable public space, potentially festival space. This project is in included in the City of La Vista FY 2023 - 2027 CIP. As of December 30, 2022, further details regarding design and construction have not been identified. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
