| Description | The Weatherization Assistance Program is under the NC Department of Environmental Quality grant for low income families in Ashe, Alleghany and Wilkes Counties during the period of 7/01/2020 – 6/30/2021. All Contractors must be licensed in the state of North Carolina and provide proof of liability, auto and workers compensation insurances. Minorities, women, Veterans, disabled owned businesses and Historically Underutilized Businesses (HUB) are encouraged to participate in the process. Bids opening will begin on May 11, 2020. BROC will publish and/or accept subsequent bids throughout the year.
