Snow and Ice Removal for the Maryland State Highway Administration

For Snow and Ice Removal for the Maryland State Highway Administration The Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, and expertise to perform snow and ice removal on roadways, parking lots, sidewalks, and other areas designated by the Administration at the Hanover Complex. Please note that the Contractor's skid loaders will work continuously during a major storm which may necessitate the need for relief operators. The Contractor shall provide all service and repairs to keep its equipment operational for the entire snow event and until released by the Administration.The Administration will not compensate for down time of equipment that extends beyond one hour. The Contractor shall report to the Administration when its equipment is down for repairs and when the repairs have been completed and the equipment is operational. The Contractor shall establish communication with the Administration representative for the duration of the Contract. The Contractor shall provide a home office, and cellular phone number, or an answering service where the Administration can contact or leave a message seven day a week, twenty-four hours a day
