400amp Electrical Service - Upgrade Provide and install a new 400amp 120/240v Single phase electrical service. The successful bidder shall CBYD the area Coordinate with Eversource the change over Install a new meter and disconnect on the exterior of the building. Install a new grounding electrodes, building steel & water service bonded connections to the service. Install 2 new 200 amp panels 40 circuits each in the basement area next to the transfer switch Breakers in the new panels will match all connected loads, 6 spare 1 pole 20amp breakers will be provided. Reuse the transfer switch to power building loads. Relocate all existing panel circuits near the transfer switch into the new panels. Use the schedule 40 PVC conduit buried by others from the pole to the building, depth and position has not been determined of this existing pipe. The above pipe must be correctly sized and installed to meet applicable codes. Excavation will be done by hand on each end to expose the pipe and then run to the pole & building. Eversource must approve the pole use and meter location in the same area as the existing one. Building cut-over will be an 8-10 hr. period with limited and will require use of the existing generator.
