| Description | Hydrant Replacement. The Work under this contract shall consist of removing approximately 40 hydrants and installing new hydrants, as well as installing an additional 10 hydrants in locations which the main terminates with no hydrant. It is presumed the locations without hydrants will require approximately 20 linear feet of ductile iron pipe. The Work also includes furnishing and installing gate valves, valve boxes and covers, miscellaneous work and cleanup between October 12, 2022 and December 1, 2022 All questions by prospective bidders as to the interpretation of the Contract Documents must be submitted by email to Scott Brinch, Assistant Director - Utilities, Department of Public Works, 999 Whipple Road, Tewksbury, MA 01876, at least 7 days before the date and time set for the opening of Bids at sbrinch@tewksbury-ma.gov |
