Cosby Building - Phase 1

The work to be performed includes the removal of all garbage, debris, clothing, loose furniture, loose wall coverings, etc. from the Cosby Building in downtown Calera. The Cosby Building is a building currently owned by the City of Calera and its previous owner left large amounts of material to be removed. The existing safe in the building shall be retained by the City of Calera. The City of Calera shall provide dumpsters and/or trucks for any material to be disposed of to be placed in. The City will also pay any tipping fees at the landfill for the disposal of said material. Any remaining material shall be removed of immediately. No material which is not being disposed of by the City shall not be left outside overnight. This is a lump sum contract. The low bidder shall have ninety (90) calendar days from the date of contract execution to complete the work. Each bidder shall supply proof of liability insurance in the amount of $1,000,000 with his bid. City of Calera reserves the right to reject any or all bids and / or choose the bid or bids most advantageous to the City of Calera.
