Description | Base Bid (Rehabilitation of Existing 60” Culvert at MP 2.6): Installation of a Centrifugally Cast Fiberglass Reinforced Polymer Mortar (CCFRPM) pipe liner inside an existing CMP stormwater culvert. Work includes: the installation and removal of a sheet pile coffer dam at each end of the existing CMP culvert, installation of the CCFRPM pipe liner, grouting of the annular space between the existing CMP pipe and the CCFRPM pipe liner, restoration of disturbed areas and impletion of traffic control measures. Add Alternate No. 1 (AC/Brigantine Connector, MP 1.5CN): The work generally consists of furnishing all labor, equipment and materials and performing all work required for the removal of the existing 24” CMP sewer pipe, installation of new 24” corrugated high density polyethylene sewer pipe and connection to existing oil/water separator and storm manhole, excavation, backfill and compaction, procurement and installation of imported backfill material (including compaction), procurement and placement of imported topsoil, grading of site, soil erosion control measures, restoration of disturbed areas, dewatering of excavation as necessary, and implementation/removal of traffic control measures. Add Alternate No. 2 (ACE, MP 7.9): The work generally consists of furnishing all labor, equipment and materials and performing all work required for the removal of the existing 15” CMP sewer pipe, installation of new 16” ductile iron sewer pipe and connection to existing storm inlet, excavation, backfill and compaction, restoration of asphalt pavement, installation of pre-formed scour hole and regarding of area at downstream end of pipe, soil erosion control measures, restoration of disturbed areas, dewatering of excavation as necessary, and implementation/removal of traffic control measures. It is anticipated that the sewer pipe will be replaced in sections and that traffic control will have to be implemented/removed and reimplemented as shown on the plans. Prior to the removal of traffic control, the asphalt pavement will have to be replaced. |
