Carrollton Classic Academy Roofing Project - Rebid

ResponsiveEd Texas, a Texas open-enrollment charter school, is issuing a Request for Competitive Sealed Proposals to perform construction services on a project at 2400 N. Josey Ln, Carrollton, Texas. This project includes removal of the existing roofing system down to the structural deck and the application of a new 60 mil PVC roofing system over 4.5" min. thickness polyisocyanurate insulation board, totaling approximately 61,570 square feet of roof area. Due to materials shortages, this project is scheduled to occur beginning on or about June 1, 2023, with a required substantial completion date of August 1, 2023.ResponsiveEd Texas can provide up to 3,500 square feet of unconditioned warehouse storage space with a clear height of 20 feet for the selected contractor to store materials for this project from the delivery date to approximately May 30, 2023. This should not include any flammable materials. The school intends to evaluate responses and select a Contractor in a one-step selection process in accordance with Sections 2269.251-.258 of the Texas Government Code.Inquiries for an RFP package may be submitted in writing no later than five (5) calendar days prior to the proposal due date.A bid tabulation will be sent out via email to all parties who submitted a Sealed RFP response by the required deadline. An addendum will be issued Monday, November 07, 2022, to address any questions submitted before 12:00 noon, Friday, November 04, 2022. A Proposal Bond is required for this project. The school reserves the right to reject any or all responses to this RFP, to waive technicalities, to readvertise or to proceed otherwise where in the best interest of the School. Responses should be submitted sealed and plainly marked: "COMPETITIVE SEALED PROPOSAL RFP - Founders Classical Academy of Carrollton, Attention T. Lynn Tompkins Jr., V. P. of Construction and Real Estate." Late responses will not be accepted and will be returned unopened.
