Description | As of August 24, 2022,this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. The work of this single bid project includes general interior removals and reconstruction, fire suppression, plumbing HVAC, electrical, and abatement work. 1. Removal of existing electrical equipment as indicated on Drawings. 2. Reuse existing electric service and power distribution system for temporary power for construction purposes. 3. Provision of a new underground electric service and power distribution system as needed. 4. Coordinate new electric service with National Grid. 5. Packaged engine generator system and emergency power distribution system. 6. Lighting, power and communications systems for the alterations and areas shown. 7. Outdoor site and security lighting systems. 8. Wiring devices and branch circuitry in areas shown. 9. Power wiring systems for mechanical and miscellaneous electrical equipment, including existing kitchen, etc. 10. Raceway system for telephone and data cabling. 11. Fire Alarm System. 12. IP Clock and Program system. 13. IP Sound system. 14. Intercom and entrance control system. 15. All necessary cutting, patching and firestopping. 16. Excavation and backfill. 17. Miscellaneous items shown and/or specified. All bidders must present evidence of skill, experience and financial qualifications per Information to Bidders, Section 7 of the project specs. Subcontracting is permitted (Section 2.18 of SUCF Agreement). Principal subcontractors must be named within 48 hrs after bid opening per Information for Bidders Section 8. Bidders must submit within 48 hrs either certification of its NYS VendRep questionnaire (preferred) or a signed and notarized paper CCA2 form (Version 9/13 only), Attachments A, B, and C, Appendix A form, work descriptions, and preliminary project schedule. EEO goals for this project: 6% minority workforce and 3% female workforce Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Set Aside: No Minority Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 12% Women Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 18% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business Contracting Goal: 3% Contract term: 426 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed Estimated Range -$5,000,000 - $10,000,000 *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
