2021 Street Improvement Program

The Base Bid work for the above contract includes a full reconstruction of Maryland Avenue, from Milwaukee Avenue to Congress Street. This work includes full replacement of existing asphalt pavement, curb and gutter, new concrete sidewalk, full replacement of existing sanitary sewer, replacement of storm sewer and watermain. The project also includes a new multi-use path, from Maryland Ave to Milwaukee Avenue. Major work items and approximate quantities for which are requested include: 2,100 tons HMA pavement, 7700 CY of excavation common, 16,550 SF of concrete sidewalk, 680 SY of concrete driveway apron, 4,020 LF of concrete curb and gutter, 1,560 LF of PVC sanitary sewer main, 575 LF of sanitary sewer laterals, 820 LF of PVC watermain, 385 LF of copper water services, 2 hydrant installations, 2 hydrant relocations, and 3,510 SY of landscape restoration.
