Asbestos Abatement and Demolition Services

for demolition services including asbestos abatement at a property located at 1023 Pettis Ave NE, Ada, MI 49301. Work is to be completed and accepted by December 30, 2021. The request is to demolish and provide the asbestos abatement for the house and structure on site. SCOPE The County requires demolition of the structures on site located at 1023 Pettis Ave NE, Ada, MI 49301. See attached aerial of demolition limits. The work includes the following: 1. Respondent has the capability to break down and remove house and structures in accordance with generally accepted demolition practices and procedures. 2. Respondent will be required to obtain permits. 3. Removal of trees and shrubs approved by Kent County (protection of trees not removed). 4. Removal of concrete walls and floor to a level 3 feet below grade. 5. Removal of debris wood products (ex. Decking & play equipment material) from site that are not part of building. Specifically fence along road and two chicken coop structures. 6. All dumping fees will be the responsibility of the Respondent. 7. Back fill of basement and compact. Cover with topsoil (4” minimum) and finish top grade (subject to approval). 8. Abandonment of septic system in accordance to Kent County Health Department regulations and provide copies of KCHD documentation to the Kent County Parks Department. 9. Submit a project plan with times frames for completion of all requirements for house and structure removals. 10. Return to original grade. 11. Asbestos Abatement will be required (sample results attached).
