Dog Park Synthetic Turf Replacement - PK-07 - City of Foster City

The synthetic turf inside the dog park requires replacement every five to seven years due to the volume of high impact traffic it receives. This project consists of removing and replacing approximately 10,000 square feet of existing synthetic turf. Prior to installation of the new turf, the base material will be repaired, as required, to eliminate depressions and the underlying drainage system will be replaced and upgraded to ensure proper treatment of site run-off. This Project Is included in the City of Foster City's Fy 2022 - 2023 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). Per the owner, as of May 24, 2023, the owner states that they do not have a timeline as to when a design team will be selected. A firm timeline for construction has not been determined. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change. The content management team will continue to pursue additional details as they become available.
