Parks and Recreation Master Plan

Parks and Recreation master plan for the Town’s parks that includes 7 parks, encompassing playgrounds, tennis courts, multiple sports fields, splashpad, dog park and swimming area. The master plan will include a mission, analysis of current conditions and challenges, identify key themes from community engagement and provide short and long-term goals for Parks and Recreation facilities. Proposed project includes improvements to the East Windsor Park, Prospect Park, Volunteer Park, Osbourne Park, Town Hall Annex, Abbe Road Complex, Broad Brook Pond Park, and Pierce Memorial Park. As of June 22, 2022, this project is in the conceptual phase. An architect has not been selected. Although a firm timeline for construction has not been determined, construction is not expected to start prior to May 2023. *Project information, including timeline and contacts, has been obtained through public sources.
