Replace Carpet / Flooring for Hallway - New River Community College

PURPOSE: New River Community College (NRCC) seeks a qualified vendor to Replace Carpet at E-123 at Edwards Hall in Dublin approximately 552 square feet, and at Dublin Hall Flooring for Hallways in Christiansburg approximately 2,629 square feet. SCOPE OF WORK: The contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, equipment, tools, materials and incidentals necessary to furnish and install the following product(s): Carpet Removal and Installation at the following location: Edwards Hall-5251 5251 College Drive Dublin, VA 24084-highlighted in yellow on attached map o Remove and dispose of existing carpet; debris will be placed in an onsite roll-off container o Install approximately 552 square feet of Scholarship II Tile, Aladdin Commercial, Portofino 559, no equivalents will be accepted o Glue Down Carpet Tear Out Carpet Tile o Remove and install Cove base o Seal Floor and Floor Prep o Install Enpress PSA o Install Optiseal 4G o Install PINRBR CCB4 Slate Floor Removal and Installation at the following location: Dublin Hall 782 New River NW, Suite 400 Christiansburg, VA 27043- highlighted in yellow on attached map Requires Seal floor and Floor Prep o Remove and dispose of existing flooring in accordance with state and local regulations o Install approximately 2,629 square feet of Terrain II PIRCH LVT, no equivalents will be accepted o Install LVP Spray Adhesive o Install Transition/Reducer C o Install PINRBR CCB4 Slate o Remove and install Cove base Moving of any furniture/equipment and placing back at the completion of the project at both locations. A Map is included for review of installation location It is the responsibility of the Contractor to verify all measurements Contractor shall move all furniture/equipment prior to carpet installation to a designated area determined by the college, and all furniture/equipment shall be returned to their original location after completion of project. Contractor shall leave all areas clean, vacuumed and/or mopped at project completion. Any damage to existing utilities, furniture/equipment or finished surfaces resulting from the performance of this contract shall be repaired to the Commonwealth's satisfaction at the contractor's expense The work will be done in the late evening and/or weekends, Fridays 5pm-11-pm, Saturdays 8am-8pm. Contractors will contact Security and/or NRCC Staff for access to the work sites during the specified work hours. Questions regarding this Quick Quote will be accepted until 2:30 p.m. on 8/24/2022.
